FlowBreak Privacy Policy

Last updated: 25 May 2026

Summary

FlowBreak does not collect, store, or transmit your personal data to any servers controlled by the developer. Your interruption history, tags, settings, and Focus Scores live on your device and, if you opt in, in your private iCloud container.

Data we store on your device

FlowBreak stores the following locally in an on-device SQLite database:

This data never leaves your device unless you turn on iCloud sync.

iCloud sync (optional)

If you enable iCloud sync in Settings, FlowBreak uses Apple CloudKit to keep the same data set in sync across your Apple devices that are signed into the same iCloud account. The developer has no access to your CloudKit container. Apple's privacy policy governs CloudKit data: apple.com/legal/privacy.

Subscriptions and purchases

FlowBreak Pro subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed by Apple through the App Store. The developer never sees your payment details. We do see anonymised subscription event data through App Store Connect (purchase, renewal, cancellation) so we can show the correct Pro status in the app, but this data is not linked to your personal identity from the developer's side.

Advertising

Free users see banner ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob is configured to:

Google's privacy notice for AdMob covers what the SDK collects: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can avoid all ads by subscribing to FlowBreak Pro or buying the lifetime upgrade.

Diagnostics

If you have crash reporting enabled in iOS or macOS Settings, Apple may send anonymised crash logs to the developer through Xcode Organizer. These logs do not contain your interruptions, tags, or any user content. You can disable this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.

What we do not do

Children

FlowBreak is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR and similar regimes you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, and portability. Because FlowBreak stores nothing on the developer's servers, you can exercise all of these directly in the app: export your data from Settings → Data, edit any record, or delete everything with one tap.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, the "Last updated" date at the top will move and a notice will appear inside the app the next time you open it.
